Mission
Satanism in the Colorado community
Founded in June 2016, we are a local congregation of non-theistic Satanists with specific affirmative values and principles.

Our congregants recognize and celebrate the mythology surrounding the figure of Satan, particularly that of the Romantic Period, as a powerful metaphor symbolic of rebellion against tyranny and arbitrary authority while also living by Enlightenment values.

We do not worship Satan, in fact we do not believe in a literal Satan and reject any and all superstition and supernaturalism. We are not affiliated with the Church of Satan but had formerly been associated with The Satanic Temple.

As a congregation, our goal is to continue contributing to our communities through campaigns and drives while also celebrating our religious tradition with each other and those who wish to celebrate with us.

The mission of Satanic Colorado is to encourage benevolence and empathy among all people, reject tyrannical authority, advocate practical common sense and justice, and be directed by the human conscience to undertake noble pursuits guided by the individual will.

We are first and foremost a community of religious Satanists residing in Colorado. We sometimes engage in activism or advocacy as an extension of our religious beliefs, but are not a catch-all activist organization.
