Satanism has holidays! We may work hard, but we also party hard and we definitely know how to indulge and have a good time. Come celebrate with us!

Lupercalia
February 13-15
A celebration of bodily autonomy, sexual liberation, and reproduction
Based on the Roman festival of the same name, Lupercalia falls on February 15. In keeping with the ancient tradition, February 13th and 14th are observed as feast days leading up to the actual holiday. Although we are no longer affiliated with TST, we still keep this holiday on our calendars, which they characterize as a “hail yourself” day.
Satanic Colorado has taken this time in the past to host Satanic Self Love Rituals and private member initiation ceremonies.

Hexennacht
April 30
An occasion honoring those who fell victim to superstition and pseudoscience, whether by witch hunt, satanic panic, or other injustices.
In Johann Wolfgang von Goethe’s Faust: a Tragedy (1808), Mephisto and Faust attend the Walpurgisnacht revelry atop Mount Brocken. Our observation of Hexennacht is a solemn holiday to honor those who were victimized by superstition.
Satanic Colorado has taken this time in the past to host Hexennacht rituals.

Halloween
October 31
Holiday to celebrate indulgence and embrace the darkness and its aesthetic
Halloween is consistently described as evil, demonic, and satanic by those steeped in religious dogma. Costumes, candy, and facing fears are to be embraced.
The Colorado Congregation has taken this time in the past to host Halloween rituals, our beer release fundraiser, and even a Black Mass.

Saturnalia
December 17-23
Congregation holiday to celebrate the end of the year.
Saturnalia is Satanic Colorado’s signature event. We take this time to socialize with our community, fund our future initiatives, and throw a kickass party!

Sol Invictus
December 25
Celebration of being unconquered by superstition and consistency in the pursuit and sharing of knowledge
The cult of Sol existed within Rome since its early days as a republic, and Invictus was an epithet used for Jupiter, Mars, and Apollo (among others). The festival celebrated these gods and may have also been used to celebrate the winter solstice, though this is debatable.
Satanic Colorado typically celebrates this holiday privately as we are usually still recovering from Saturnalia.
