The Devil's Food Drive
Our fall drive tackles food insecurity in our community with The Devil's Food Drive. We partner with Bar Nun and set up drop boxes for donations throughout the state for two months.
Food insecurity is an issue throughout America, and Colorado is no exception to this problem. In addition to the needs of Coloradans in hard times, many states are pushing residents out with draconian policies hostile to their bodily autonomy, which drives people to seek haven here. Our goal is to help ensure both old and new neighbors are taken care of and that other states' cruelty doesn't overburden our support networks.
We set up the usual infrastructure, but the drive's success ultimately depends on contributors like you. In addition to our wish lists on Amazon and Target, we accept cash donations via Paypal.
Huge thanks to a key partner for this drive. Bar Nun is a great coconspirator and plays a huge part in safely storing online contributions throughout the drive.
Special Thanks
Satanic Colorado is pleased to work in partnership with our friends at Bar Nun! They have been instrumental in this drive's conception and execution.
Not only did they take on the challenge of storing your donations safely for the duration of the drive, they hosted us last year for a thrilling Wrap Party on November 11th including live performances, amazing food and drinks, and well-cultivated vibes. This was a great way to get the contributions counted and sorted for donation, then to cut loose and celebrate a successful drive!
Current Recipients
Food Bank of the Rockies is the largest hunger-relief organization in the Rocky Mountain region. That makes us uniquely suited to answer the enormous challenge of hunger. Since 1978, we’ve put the power of community to work for our neighbors in need through partnerships, programs, and support from people like you.
Our organization is just beginning to take root! Please support us as we build something beautiful and create a safe space for LGBTQIA+ children, adolescents, and families in Northern Colorado. While we are not legally a non-profit organization due to federal regulations against non-profits lobbying for their political interests (which is very important in our line of work), we are a non-profit organization in practice. Any help is greatly appreciated so we can bring affordable and accessible care to our community.
The Rainbow Circles is looking to build a free food pantry and is actively seeking donations of non-perishable food items for our community food pantry.
Drop Boxes
Thank you to these Colorado businesses that helped us gather donations!
